Won't Forget Ya

I walk down the road, pass the buildings that I know

And I have so much to show, but I couldn’t do it on my won

So I won’t, I won’t forget ya,

Cause when I first, I first met ya,

I knew I wouldn’t forget ya,

You’re in my head just like the alphabet.

My Mama knows I’m a sensitive soul, and that important things ya cannot hold

So when the weather gets stormy and cold, I think on back to what my Mama told.

So I won’t, I won’t forget ya,

Cause when I first, I first met ya,

I knew I wouldn’t forget ya,

You’re in my head just like the alphabet.

My Dad once told me, he said ‘Fawn, ya know’ that there are a lot of road toads,

So when I meet a heavy load, I hit the road just like my Papa told.

So I won’t, I won’t forget ya,

Cause when I first, I first met ya,

I knew I wouldn’t forget ya,

You’re in my head just like the alphabet.
